We are one of the UK’s largest independent producers and are responsible for some of the best-known and popular drama on British television. Channel 4’s HOLLYOAKS is produced on our ten-acre site in Childwall, Liverpool.

Lime Pictures is proud to be one of Liverpool’s biggest employers, with a staff of over 500 working on our projects.

The company was formed in 1982 by Phil Redmond and originally known as Mersey Television, before All3Media's acquisition in 2005 and the name change to Lime Pictures in 2006. Our management team is made up of Chief Executive Carolyn Reynolds, Managing Director Sean Marley and Creative Director Tony Wood.

In addition to our flagship output we also have production teams working on a wide range of drama projects and development. The company has ambitious plans to increase output in the region's rapidly growing production sector. As part of the Lime Pictures Group, our associate company Conker Media produces content for emerging digital platforms; including digital television, online, broadband Internet, mobile and digital radio. As well as driving forward ambitious cross platform projects linked to HOLLYOAKS, Lee Hardman (Director of Digital Content) and his team are working in partnership with Baby Cow Productions and Channel 4 for 4Laughs while developing a range of cross platform projects for ITV and BBC.
