The successful brand extension of Channel 4’s flagship teen dram Hollyoaks, Hollyoaks Later will consist of five, one hour long episodes which will play out over consecutive nights.

Screened in a late night 10pm timeslot the series delves deeper into the lives, loves and misdemeanours of the Hollyoaks regulars, shedding their teen image as they look to find their feet away from the Village.

In pursuit of independence, the irrepressible Ashworth kids head for a music festival, where even Hannah discovers she can lose her inhibitions, whilst Chester’s unlikeliest couple, Tony and Cindy, look set to finally tie the knot. The manic McQueen sisters cause mayhem in the Capital whilst a bootcamp from hell ends with nightmare consequences for Sarah, Lydia and Zoe.

Last year was a real departure in which we saw the Hollyoaks Late Night series grow up and this year is set to continue in the same vein. We’ve selected some of the best loved Hollyoaks characters, put them in romantic, funny and dangerous situations and I’m hoping viewers love the result.
