The Season is a reality based television drama that follows the lives and loves of a close group of 18-21 year olds as they head out on a ski season in their gap year. Filmed in the exclusive Val d’Isere ski resort, the show captures the lives, loves, trials and tribulations of the young seasonnaires as they work and play in the party capital of the Alps.

With unlimited access to the charismatic and entertaining cast, the series comes packed with heartbreaking, dramatic and sometimes hilarious storylines. As the drama unfolds in the mountain side cafes and bars, The Season aims to get under the skin of the central characters and captures the action on and off the slopes.

The series spans ten consecutive weeks, focusing on twelve main characters including self-confessed gossip queen Abi, wannabe pro-boarder Sam and his gorgeous girlfriend Holly and resident drama queen Hari.

This constructed reality format has been adapted from the highly original and hugely successful method applied to US shows such as ‘Laguna Beach’, ‘The Hills’ and MTV UK’s ‘Living on the Edge’.
