Hollyoaks is looking for a dynamic candidate from a television production background, ideally with experience of working on high volume drama, although we welcome candidates from all areas of the industry. You may be in a similar role elsewhere in the industry and looking to relocate or be ready to make the move up to this position.
As Head of Production you will have a large production team and cast to manage. You will need to deal with the many issues that any high volume drama creates. You will be involved with all aspects of Hollyoaks production from editorial planning, production scheduling, budget monitoring and dealing with the many day to day issues a show of this size and success generates. You will need the ability to stay close to the detail whilst being able to see the bigger picture.
You will be a key part of the team that is currently making Hollyoaks such a success. You will work closely with the Producer, Executive Producers and the Group Head of Production to help continue delivering Hollyoaks to the very high standards we have set.
You will be a dynamic natural leader and will have the communication skills required to deal with confrontational and difficult situations. You will be a great motivator with a strong work ethic and your organisational skills will be second to none. Most importantly you will have a great sense of humour!
LIME Pictures is based in a ten acre complex in south Liverpool. It is close to the motorway network and Manchester and Cheshire. This role offers the security of a staff position with a very competitive benefits package.
The closing date for this position is Friday 6th June 2008 with first interviews taking place in Liverpool w/c 16 June 2008. The successful candidate will be appointed from Sept 2008.
