Educating Joey Essex: Essexpedition

He’s travelled the world with Lime Pictures learning about what he loves – animals, football, ghosts and space.  Now Joey Essex is learning about what he doesn’t like – the cold, in Educating Joey Essex: Essexpedition.

He travelled 8,000 miles to one of the coldest, most remote areas on the planet – Patagonia – for an education in what being cold really means.  In Joey’s own words ‘I must be allergic to cold weather.’ It’s fair to say that he didn’t fare too well in a location where temperatures can drop to minus 20.

During his latest adventure, Joey learned about the culture, the way of life and the wildlife.  But in Joey’s toughest challenge yet, he had to learn to survive life without phone signal or WIFI.

Educating Joey Essex: Essexpedition airs on ITV2 on Wednesday 10th December at 9pm.

Educating Joey Essex returns with spooky halloween special

“If I see a ghost, I won’t start praying, I’ll just look straight at it and say…what are you saying.” Joey Essex

Educating Joey EssexJoey’s paranormal education begins in Hay-on-Wye with a ghost hunting guide Joey describes as ‘something out of the Matrix’, and an over-night stay in one of Wales’ oldest and most haunted pubs, and it doesn’t take long in his spooky surroundings before Joey is getting the jitters…

The terrifying search for the supernatural continues as Joey meets a practising pagan witch, who disappoints Joey by admitting she doesn’t fly on a broom. But Joey is eager for her to cast a spell that makes him clever – is the witch about to give Joey some much needed wisdom?

The ghostly adventure reaches its climax with a frightful ghost hunt in paranormal terror zone Bodelwyddan, a haunted castle and former war hospital. Having admitted that his greatest fear is becoming possessed, will Joey survive this petrifying pursuit of spirits unscathed?
