Lime’s MD confirms expansion plans for the north west

Lime Pictures Joint Managing Director Claire Poyser talks to It’s Liverpool magazine about being proud to produce global content from Lime’s Liverpool base and the company’s ambitions for a second studio in the North West as well as the success Lime has enjoyed on both sides of the Atlantic in 2014.

TOWIE helps ITVBe achieve highest channel launch figures in over a decade

ITV launched their brand new channel ITVBe last week with a strong schedule of two shows from Lime’s award-winning the Only Way is Essex.

This included the launch episode of series 13 with an Ibiza special (TOWII) and a brand new live spin-off show ‘TOWII: All Back to Essex’ immediately after.

The Only Way is Essex which ITV has named the new channel’s flagship show, helped the new channel to achieve the highest launch figures of a new digital channel in over a decade in the 9pm prime-time slot, winning the multi-channel slot against James Bond’s The World is Not Enough.

TOWII: All Back to Essex was the second most watched digital show at 10pm, also beating ITV2’s offering with a comedy double of The Job Lot.

Lime pictures to co-produce the first real-time dating docuseries in the USA for Bravo with "The Singles Project”

Tuesday night is date night as we invite viewers to join the social conversation for “The Singles Project,” which debuts on Tuesday, August 12 2014 at 10pm ET/PT.

The Singles Project
The new, innovative docu-series follows a group of young, successful New York singles as they search for love and strive to conquer the city that never sleeps. Viewers will help these undeniable catches overcome their hang-ups, which may include getting over an ex, managing their high expectations or broadening their dating horizons so they can eventually find “the one.” Marking the first real-time dating docu-series in the U.S., each episode will be shot and aired within the same week.

This addictive series takes transmedia to the next level as fans will be able to interact with the cast and potentially impact the show through social media like never before. Whether it be helping the daters pick out their outfits for a hot date or submitting a possible match, the sky is the limit with fan engagement. The Singles Project is a co-production between Lime Pictures, All3Media America and Goodbye Pictures.
