ITV announces new commission, Life on Marbs, for ITVBe

ITV have announced Life on Marbs, a brand new reality series from Lime Pictures coming to ITVBe this summer. The show will follow the glamorous lives of some of Marbella’s most fabulous residents. With a wealth of new characters to get to know; from ’Super-Club’ owners to designer-clad housewives, from millionaire bachelors to entrepreneurs; the series will reveal what life is really like living in Marbella – Europe’s most luxurious resort.

Viewers of ITVBe will be familiar with the southern Spanish resort as it’s a popular destination with our ITVBe stars and the location for hugely popular The Only Way Is Marbs specials. With Marbella being the playground for ITVBe’s famous faces, viewers of Life on Marbs may also get to glimpse some of their favourites soaking up the sunshine and making cameo appearances.

Lime Picture’s Head of Non-Scripted, Derek McLean said: “Having just skimmed the surface of the luxury life that exists in Marbs for previous shows, Lime are delighted finally to be able to dive right into the incredible world of wealth and aspiration that exists in this millionaires playground. Marbella is an unmissable destination for the world’s rich and famous and we’re sure it’ll be an unmissable destination for ITVBe viewers too."

Life on Marbs, a 12 x 60 minute series which will be produced by Lime Pictures, will start filming next month in southern Spain. The series has been commissioned by Amanda Stavri, Commissioner for Entertainment, ITV2 & ITVBe.

This nomination comes on the back of a year of brilliant viewing figures, amazing on-screen drama – and continued excellence and endeavour on the part of everyone connected with the show.

BRAVO US COMMISSIONS ANOTHER NON-SCRIPTED SERIES FROM LIME PICTURES

US cable network Bravo have confirmed their second commission with Lime Pictures.  The NBC Universal-owned broadcaster this week announced that Lime Pictures will be producing Fit Club for the network,  a reality series that follows some of New York’s hottest trainers who are competing to win the business of wealthy Manhattanites and famous celebrity clients.

The show was commissioned by former Channel 4 executive Frances Berwick, who is now president, lifestyle networks, NBC Universal Cable Entertainment and is expected to transmit later this year.
