The Singles Project was America’s first real-time dating series and followed a group of young, successful New York singletons as they searched for love. The dating docu-series provided Bravo US with of the moment, appointment to view television as the show was filmed, edited and transmitted within just a few days so viewers could follow the progress of the singles’ dates as they happened and the results couldn’t be seen anywhere else first.
The Singles Project had the highest production values and made the most of the beautiful New York City skyline, capturing the atmosphere of Manhattan’s elite restaurants and bars with the uber glamorous cast.
The Singles Project embraced allied social media to take interactive television to the next level. This addictive transmedia series allowed fans to engage with cast members like never before with content serving as a rich interactive extension allowing fans to impact the on-air storylines and share their views. The online ‘hub’ provided a one-stop destination for all things “The Singles Project” and included fun facts, biographical information and behind-the-scenes scoops on the ‘Singles’ cast members, as well as chronicling all of the dates and exciting moments from the show to complement the real-time broadcast and generate discussion through social media.
The Singles Project was produced by All3Media America, Goodbye Pictures and Lime Pictures with Kate Little, Claire Poyser and Derek McLean serving as Executive Producers for Lime Pictures with TOWIE’s Phil Harris as Co-Executive Producer for Lime.
