  • Date: 2nd May 2025

All-star cast line-up coming to UK theatre’s this autumn.

Lime Pictures has announced a major highlight in the Hollyoaks 30th anniversary celebrations, a nationwide theatre tour that invites fans to go behind the scenes of the UK’s most youth-skewed continuing drama.

The 30th Anniversary Tour, will take place in October 2025, with dates scheduled in Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham and London.

Developed in collaboration between Lime Pictures, Maple Tree Entertainment, and All3Media International, the tour is part of a wider programme of activity planned around the series’ milestone anniversary.

The event will feature current and former cast members in conversation, sharing memories from the show’s three decades on air. It will also include unseen footage, clips, games and musical elements designed to engage long-time fans of the programme.

Special Guest Gary Lucy

Actor Gary Lucy, who first appeared in Hollyoaks in 1999 as Luke Morgan, has been confirmed as a special guest on the tour. Lucy reprised his role between 2017 and 2022 and is recognised for his work across television and theatre, including Dream Team, Footballers’ Wives, EastEnders, and the stage adaptation of The Full Monty.

Commenting on the announcement, Lucy said:

I have a huge affection for Hollyoaks, for the important stories it tells a young audience and for the part it has played in my life and career. I jumped at the chance to relive those memories on stage and share what makes the programme meaningful to so many people.”

About Hollyoaks and the Anniversary Tour

Hollyoaks first launched on October 23 1995. It is the most youth-skewed UK continuing drama with a loyal audience that follow the lives of the residents of ‘the Chester village where it all happens’.

Streaming on Channel 4 with a live TX on E4, Hollyoaks has for three decades consistently delivered ‘firsts’ in important issue-based storylines, unmissable drama and larger than life characters that are now part of the fabric of soap.

This live event will allow audiences to go behind the scenes for the first time, delivering an exclusive access-all-areas live tour, as cast members relive the show’s most iconic moments and share unseen footage from the set of the multi-award-winning soap.
