Just when you thought it was safe to re-enter the dating pool, think again, as Celebs Go Dating is back and supercharged for 2021, it’s bigger, bolder and sexier than ever. For the very first time, the celebs and their potential matches will all bed down together in one very plush mansion. There’ll be dates, drinks and drama, and most importantly, there’ll be nowhere to hide!
In this brand-new series, our single and unlucky-in-love celebrities will be heading off on a luxurious UK dating retreat where they will spend four weeks looking for love. But that’s not all – for the first time in Celebs Go Dating history, our cameras will be following our celebs 24/7 as they try to navigate the choppy waters of modern dating.
Joining this supersized series will be Geordie lass Chloe Ferry, Love Island fave and dancing pro Curtis Pritchard, actor and Strictly Come Dancing runner up Karim Zeroual, Former Hollyoaks and Coronation Street actor Kimberly Hart-Simpson, socialite with razor sharp wit, Made In Chelsea’s Sophie Hermann, Internationally renowned DJ Tom Zanetti and Ibiza’s King of Ocean Beach Wayne Lineker.
As always, they’ll be under the ever-watchful eyes of dating experts Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson, ably assisted by Junior Client Coordinator and celeb confidante, Tom Read Wilson. Rob Beckett will also be back delivering his trademark humour as voiceover. Every hang up and hook up will be scrutinised like never before, as our celebs embark on this immersive search for true love.
Living with our lucky celebs will be a group of potential matches with whom the celebrities will go on a series of dates. But this time, whether they want to continue the romance, or cut all ties, avoidance won’t be an option because face to face communication is the order of the day. But will the close proximity lead to committed couples, or romantic rivalry? If our celebs find themselves in any illicit liaisons, they certainly won’t stay secret for long!
With plenty of new challenges, memorable dating excursions and more chances than ever to find the perfect connection, all-new Celebs Go Dating is sure to be its most dramatic series yet.
Upon joining the virtual dating agency Geordie Shore lass Chloe Ferry said
“I am absolutely buzzing to join the agency for the second time this year! I did the virtual series and loved the whole process but am now really ready for the agents to find me a proper match. Hopefully meeting face to face will help with feeling a real connection.”
Love Island fave and dancing pro, Curtis Pritchard said:
“I’m so excited to join the celebs go dating agency. I’m really looking forward to learning more about myself. I can’t wait to see who the agents set me up with. I have not been on many dates in my life, so I’m super exited to explore the dating scene, hopefully I’ll find my version of the perfect woman”
Actor and Strictly Come Dancing runner up, Karim Zeroual said:
“Sadly, this year I came out of a long-term relationship, but I feel ready now to start dating again and throw myself in the deep end. Hopefully the agents are going to help me find the girl of my dreams!”
Former Hollyoaks and Coronation Street actor, Kimberly Hart-Simpson said:
“I’ve joined the agency because I’m 33, still live with my mum and don’t know why I’m still single. I’ve been putting myself out there, and joined pretty much every dating app going, so not sure what I’m doing wrong. Hoping Anna and Paul will help me figure that out and find my perfect match (whatever gender!)”
Made in Chelsea’s Sophie Hermann said:
“2020 has definitely been a bleak year for dating, how many socially distanced park walks can one go on?! I’ve joined the agency to hopefully find love and not have to spend another lockdown alone. I think the agency will have their work cut out for them, mainly due to my lack of filter and pickiness, but I am putting all of my trust into their hands.”
Internationally renowned DJ, Tom Zanetti said:
“I don’t have a girlfriend; all my businesses have shut down and I’ve been asked to live in a mansion full of gorgeous women and crazy characters for a month. ERMMM, SIGN ME UP!”
Ibiza’s King of Ocean Beach, Wayne Lineker said:
“After being single for over 2 years, I am so ready to meet somebody I can hopefully spark a romance with. I’ve heard great things about the agency, and that Anna, Paul and Tom give sound advice. I’m excited to see the potential dates that the agents bring to the table, and hopefully learn a few things about myself along the way.”
Vivienne Molokwu, Commissioning Editor, Channel 4 said:
“Dating has been pretty dire in 2020 and the love lives of lots of us have been on ice, so for 2021 we want to help heat things up for our single celebs by supercharging their search for the one. With our celebs surrounded by potential matches 24/7 who knows whether we’ll get love, lust or a good dose of both - one things for sure - it’ll be unmissable.”
Sarah Tyekiff, Head of Unscripted Programming, Lime Pictures said:
“After a very date free 2020 we’re turning up the heat as we move The Agency and our single Celebs into a luxurious country house. Our celebs will live together 24/7 without the distractions from their normal lives, so that they can really focus on finding The One. And the best way to do that…the datees are moving in! Get ready for awkward first dates, bathroom bump ins and some unfiltered romance.”
The health and safety of cast and crew is a top priority. Strict COVID-19 protocols and industry guidelines will be adhered to throughout filming in order to maintain a safe working environment.
Celebs Go Dating will return to E4 in early 2021.
