Digital16, a new digital and social media team has officially launched, building on the legacy of Lime Digital, the pioneering in-house digital team originally created within Lime Pictures, part of ALL3Media.
Previously known as Lime Digital the team was responsible for launching the early social media presence for some of the UK’s most recognised television brands including E4’s Hollyoaks, ITV2’s The Only Way Is Essex, (TOWIE) and E4’s Celebs Go Dating. The group helped shape how entertainment brands engage audiences online, developing innovative social media strategies that connected tv with rapidly growing online communities together with successfully monetising various platforms. These strategies and content brought fans closer to their TV shows and talent within them.
Now re-established as Digital16 the company will continue to work with their key clients such as Channel 4, Optomen and Wise Owl Films on brands such as Hollyoaks, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive & Kids, Princess Diaries, Sort Your Life Out and Bad Boyfriends. They will also maintain and develop a range of commercial campaigns and social action initiatives working with partners to create brand-driven content and audience driven campaigns that extend television storytelling beyond the screen.
