Prior to joining Lime Pictures in May 2012, Claire was Director of Production for ITV Studios and had operational and budgetary responsibility for the delivery of over 3500 hours of original content across all genres each year. The programme portfolio included Coronation Street, Emmerdale, This Morning, Prime Suspect, Cold Feet, Poirot, Hells Kitchen, and I’m a Celebrity.
Claire started her TV career at the BBC as a Floor Assistant working on a variety of programmes within the Drama and Entertainment Departments.
In 1989 she joined BFBS TV and spent the next 6 years travelling the globe making a variety of programmes for the UK’s Ministry of Defence before returning to the BBC’s Youth, Entertainment and Features Department as a Production Manager.
In 1998 Claire ‘crossed over’ from the BBC to ITV (initially as Head of Production for Entertainment and Comedy at Granada TV) and took on a variety of roles that culminated in her appointment as Director of Production in 2003.
Claire has an MBA from Manchester University Business School.
Joint Managing Director
Prior to joining Lime Pictures as COO, Kate was Director of Business Affairs at ITV Studios. A key member of the ITV Studios Board, Kate contributed to the successful management of ITV Studios throughout her 6 years at ITV.
Kate oversaw deal making across the entirety of ITV’s output from Coronation Street and Dancing on Ice through to This Morning. She had responsibility for Business Affairs across ITV’s global content business, UK and International production as well as distribution. Her key global projects included Come Dine With Me, Prime Suspect USA and multi-party financed large scale drama co-productions such as Titanic and The Prisoner.
Prior to joining ITV, Kate worked at the BBC with responsibility for Business Affairs across in-house production departments including Radio and Music, having previously headed up the legal team in Entertainment Commissioning.
A qualified solicitor, Kate started her career in media at the Producers Industrial Relations Service, later the Producers Rights Agency, where she became Head of Rights, Legal and International Affairs.
Chief Creative Officer - Lion Television
Richard is Lion TV’s co-founder and Chief Creative Officer. Under his leadership, the company has built a worldwide reputation for quality, inventive and ambitious television. He oversees the creation of Documentary, History, Arts, Scripted, Comedy and Children’s programming.
He has helped devise shows including the children’s classic Horrible Histories (CBBC), Secrets of the Saqqara Tomb (Netflix), Days that Shook the World (History), Victorian Farm (BBC2), the dramas First Light (BBC2) and When Bowie Met Bolan (Sky) and the documentaries of Mary Beard.
With expertise in high-end production for the world’s leading broadcasters and SVODs, Richard has pioneered international production relationships, particularly in Asia where Lion TV has built over a decade of award-winning success.
Richard continues to enjoy EP-ing, working with key television talent and nurturing the next generation in production. His work has won numerous UK and international awards, including multiple Emmys, BAFTAs, British Comedy Awards, the Prix Jeunesse, two Golden Roses and the AAAS Gold Award. He’s the co-author of the best-selling book Missionaries. Richard co-chairs the Children’s TV Council and is on the board of the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers.
Chief Creative Officer
Mirella Breda joined Lime Pictures in March 2023 as Chief Creative Officer, Unscripted.
Mirella is a creative leader with over 20 years’ experience in producing, developing and commissioning unscripted formats – from talent-led factual formats (Mary Queen of Shops, James May’s Man Lab, Raymond Blanc’s The Restaurant) to prime-time entertainment (Stars in Their Eyes, Total Wipeout, Comic Relief) and reality juggernauts (Big Brother, Castaway).
A former BBC Commissioning Editor, Mirella oversaw an extensive slate of shows including Masterchef, Dragons Den, 101 Ways to Leave a Gameshow and Room 101 before joining Initial (part of Endemol Shine) as Creative Director and latterly Managing Director where she won multiple network commissions for Tenable, Big Box Little Box, Give a Pet A Home, Harry Hill’s Stars in Their Eyes and Up Late with Rylan and oversaw the production of Big Brother UK and Soccer Aid. Mirella relocated to Glasgow in 2019 to join new indie Two Rivers Media as their Head of Entertainment.
Having started her career on Channel 4’s seminal Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush, her credits also include Sport Relief, Friends Like These, Lenny Henry Goes To Town, Russian Roulette and Find a Fortune.
Director of HR
Fiona joined Lime Pictures in 2017 and leads the HR department across Lime and Lion. With a background as an HR generalist in sectors ranging from manufacturing, financial services and retail to professional sport and now television, Fiona has broad experience of designing and implementing HR initiatives to support the company’s strategic objectives and providing advice and guidance to senior and operational managers and their teams.
Fiona graduated from the University of Kent with a degree in Law and French and went on to gain CIPD qualification early in her career.
Creative Director – Formats and Talent
Becky has recently joined the All3Media-backed Dance Monsters and The Only Way is Essex label. Prior to this, she was a Factual Entertainment Commissioning Editor at Channel 4 for five years.
During her Channel 4 tenure, Cadman commissioned the BAFTA winning Chatshow The Lateish Show With Mo Gilligan, along with the likes of hard-hitting doc Caroline Flack: Her Life & Death, while working across established hits such as Naked Attraction.
She previously led format development on Love Island, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and Sky’s Got to Dance.
Executive Producer - Hollyoaks
Hannah Cheers is Executive Producer of Hollyoaks. Following a recent stint as Producer on Emmerdale, Hannah has returned to Hollyoaks where she began her career in the story office in 2009. She story-produced, produced and series-produced the show under Bryan Kirkwood across 2012-2021. During this period Hollyoaks was BAFTA nominated, won two Best British Soap Awards, two Broadcast awards and two Royal Television Society Awards. Hannah also worked as Story Producer on Coronation Street under Kate Oates from 2015-2017.
Director of Production (Hollyoaks)
Colette Chard is the Head of Production for Hollyoaks at Lime Pictures.
Colette began her career in the art department in 1989 working on Water Front Beat for the BBC, she then moved on to the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside. After 4 years, she moved to Los Angeles and during her time there she worked for Catholic Production Company, Paulist Productions.
Returning to the UK in 1995, Colette began work on the new Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, and over a period of nearly a decade, she worked her way up to become the show’s Senior Production Manager.
She then moved on to become a Line Producer and Production Executive overseeing all of Lime Pictures’ in-house Children’s Crama Programmes including Grange Hill, Ingenious, Proper Messy, The Well, Shelfstakers, Combat Kids, House of Anubis, Rockets Island and The Evermore Chronicles. Being nominated for several BAFTA’s and winning awards including Banff, Kids Choice and an RTS for Grange Hill.
In 2015, Colette returned to Hollyoaks to become Head of Production and during her current tenure, Hollyoaks has been nominated for 3 BAFTAs and won the 2018 Broadcast Award for Best Continuing Drama, the 2019 RTS award for Best Soap and Continuing Drama as well as Best Soap at the British Soap Awards and Inside Soap Awards 2019 as voted for by the viewers.
Creative Director - Lion TV
Daniel Pearl joins from Paramount where he was Commissioning Editor of Unscripted for Paramount+ and Channel 5. He has previously held a number of senior roles at the BBC and Channel 4. During his career he has produced and commissioned some of the highest profile and most popular factual programmes, from the Emmy-Award winning Leaving Neverland: Michael Jackson & Me, to the highest ever factual series on Channel 5 - Our Yorkshire Farm.
Daniel has developed and launched a large number of premium factual series as well as new popular formats and has played a pivotal role in bringing in top presenting talent. Previously he was Editor of Channel 4’s Dispatches strand and Deputy Editor of the BBC’s Panorama, Newsnight and Ten O’clock News. He was also Editor of the BBC’s first ever Prime Ministerial debate.
Co-Head of Kids & Family
Angelo is joint Head of Kids & Family (alongside Tim Compton) at Lime Pictures.
Angelo has been both sides of the camera – first as an Actor and then as one-half of the award winning comedy double act – The Vicious Boys which had several TV series for Channel 4, Sky, MTV and ITV as well as touring around the world with their Live shows. Angelo then moved into writing and directing. As a Writer/Director, Angelo worked in most aspects of TV before coming to Lime Pictures including – Comedy (Get up Stand Up), Drama (Hard Knocks), Entertainment (Playing it Straight), and Kids & Family (My Parents are Aliens).
Angelo came to Lime Pictures in 2011 to be Lead Director and showrunner on Bafta nominated House of Anubis for Nickelodeon and has stayed ever since. Angelo developed and produced Free Rein for Netflix, for which he won an Emmy and was Emmy nominated as a Director. He then executive produced and was Emmy nominated as Director on Zero Chill also for Netflix.
Co-Head of Kids & Family
Tim began his career at HIT Entertainment, developing, writing and producing animation. He was script editor for all indie dramas at CBBC, working across MI High and Grange Hill, and developing the multi-award-winning Roy with Jam Media. At Lime Pictures, Tim developed the Banff award winning The Well (BBC Switch) by Melvin Burgess and was story producer and core writer on the global hit House of Anubis (Nickelodeon). He piloted Rocket’s Island for CBBC, as well as the International Emmy-nominated Evermoor for the Disney Channel, the first UK live-action series commissioned by Disney Channel US. Tim has written for Evermoor and the Netflix Original Free Rein, and has just co-produced two standalone specials of Free Rein with Angelo Abela, as well as the show’s forthcoming third season. In early 2019 Compton was confirmed as Joint Head of Kids for Lime Pictures alongside Angelo Abela.
Co-President Lion US
Alongside Stan Hsue, Allison oversees Lion US and heads up the current productions team, responsible for all of Lion’s series, specials and pilots.
Allison joined Lion TV in 2004 and since then has executive produced the Emmy-winning Cash Cab for the Discovery Channel and Bravo, Jason Biggs’ Cash at Your Door for E!, hundreds of hours of true-crime programming for Investigation Discovery, and a wide-ranging slate of programs for MTV, The Food Network, The Discovery Channel, Bravo and all of Lion’s network partners.
Before coming to Lion TV, Allison was a show-runner and producer for WB, Sundance, WEtv, Oxygen and Discovery.
Allison started her career at MTV in the News and Docs department, where she fulfilled her teenage dreams of going on tour with Nine Inch Nails and being in the same room as Ben Affleck.
Allison is also an alumna of the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University.
Director of Legal and Business Affairs
Nick joined Lime Pictures in 2022 as the Head of Legal and Business Affairs for Lime Pictures, Lion Television and Wise Owl Films across their offices in London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds, New York and Los Angeles.
Prior to joining the company, Nick was a partner at the entertainment law firm of Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman et. al. in Beverly Hills where he represented emerging and established talent and production companies in the Film, Scripted and Unscripted television businesses.
Nick has a JD from Stanford Law School and a BA from Duke University.
Outside the office, he can be found hiking the countryside, playing the drums with futility or (overly) ambitiously attempting to cook.
Head of Lion Television Scotland
Lisa oversees Lion TV’s business in Scotland, is Executive Producer of all its output and was responsible for successfully completing the move of Lion TV’s flagship show Homes Under the Hammer (BBC One) to Glasgow.
Lisa works across a range of genre from Daytime show Hoarder SOS (Channel 4), living history series The Victorian House of Arts and Crafts (BBC Two); Arts documentary Stealing Van Gogh (BBC Two) and Entertainment show Time Commanders (BBC Four).
She has overseen the creation of numerous in-house training schemes as well as supporting industry traineeships for emerging talent in Scotland.
Lisa began life as a TV reporter and presenter for several broadcasters before moving into programming, looking after shows from Great British Menu to Escape to the Country.
Lisa is Chair of the Royal Television Society Scotland Awards and is a BAFTA judge and Member of BAFTA Scotland.
Co-President Lion US
Along with Allison Corn, Stan oversees Lion US and spearheads the development team.
Stan has been with Lion US since 2006. As a Lion development executive, Stan has developed series, pilots and projects for a wide range of networks and outlets including Investigation Discovery, D+, Bravo, E!, Smithsonian, History, A&E, NatGeo Wild and PBS, to name a few. Stan started at Lion US as Supervising Producer of Cash Cab for the Discovery Channel, overseeing the content for multiple Emmy-winning seasons.
Previously, Stan spent five years as the head writer for the prime-time and syndicated editions of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, where he oversaw the material for over 800 episodes and earned two daytime Emmy nominations.
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, Stan was a litigator at a large New York law firm. He is a graduate of Yale Law School.
Director of Development (Unscripted)
Sam has recently joined Lime Pictures as Director of Development, Unscripted, reporting directly to Mirella Breda, Chief Creative Officer, Unscripted.
Sam, an RTS award-winning creative, boasts an impressive portfolio, having previously served as Head of Development at Gogglebox and as Co-founder & Managing Director of Dr. Pluto Films. His noteworthy achievements include crafting award-winning shows such as the internationally acclaimed Release the Hounds, comedy panel show Hey Tracey!, the ITV-primetime satire BigHeads, and the 100+ episode short-form comedy sport series Man V Fly.
Director Of Programming (Unscripted)
Rebecca was appointed Creative Director of Unscripted in 2023 to oversee the company’s flagship entertainment reality series reporting directly to Mirella Breda. Prior to this Rebecca executive produced series one of Lime Pictures critically acclaimed dating game show True Love or True Lies for MTV.
Prior to working with Lime Pictures Rebecca executive produced Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother for Channel 5 from 2016 to 2018 as well as series editing both series in 2015 and 2016 for Endemol Shine. Her vast reality and entertainment experience saw her overseeing international formats for Shine including Master Chef, the Island and the Biggest Loser. Her UK credits also include; the Island with Bear Grylls Series 2 (C4), the Big Allotment Challenge (BBC2), the Apprentice and Island Hospital (ITV).
Director of Production (Unscripted)
McLusky is an award-winning Television Executive with 25 years’ experience in senior roles at leading production companies including The Lime Group (Lime, Lion and Wise Owl) , Paramount/Viacom, Shine, ITV Studios and Granada TV.
Leading over 900 productions in virtually every genre including Factual, Formatted Entertainment, Reality, Archive, Scripted, Kids, Live TV, Comedy, Quiz Shows and Features.
McLusky has also successfully set up and delivered projects in London and Manchester, Miami and New York.
Consultant Head of Publicity & Digital
Polly has an in-depth knowledge of Press and Public Relations and the entertainment industry through her work with top talent at the BBC, within the independent sector and with all the major broadcasters.
Polly specialises in reputation management, crisis communications and response and is a trusted advisor to senior management and beyond. She is used to working in fast-paced environments and has a good track record of delivering change and innovation.
Having started her career at the BBC, Polly headed up the Radio 1 Press team during the Chris Evans and Zoe Ball breakfast show eras, moving on to become Head of Production Press at the BBC and launching BBC Talent.
Past experience since setting up PR Squared includes consultancy work for leading media companies including Syco, managing the UK TV side together with Simon Cowell. Consultancy for Lime Pictures, Fremantle Media, Love Productions and Antenna Group, working strategically with both B2C and B2B priorities. Running media courses for both talent and production staff, both in-house and in the independent sector. Management of key in-house press teams including EastEnders, Casualty and Holby City. Consultant lead for external PR teams, including The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent 2009/2010/2011.
Creative Director - Wise Owl Films
Before starting Wise Owl Films, Mark worked at ITV Studios in Leeds and Newcastle for over 25 years, creating over 200 different series and prime-time specials for ITV, the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky, including May The Best House Win, Super Tiny Animals, David Jason: My Life On Screen, Last Laugh In Vegas and The Nation’s Favourite music documentary series, telling the stories behind the songs of icons such as ABBA and The Beatles.
Mark created Shiver in 2007 – ITV Studios’ first label – and has worked closely with many of Britain’s best-loved television stars including Peter Kay and Sir Trevor McDonald as well as with some of Britain’s biggest institutions and brands, from record companies including Sony, Universal, Warner Music to the casts of series like Coronation Street and Emmerdale, and the families and estates of comedy legends including Tommy Cooper, Les Dawson and Morecambe & Wise. As well as executive producing the majority of Wise Owl’s output, Mark oversaw a number of ITV’s celebrations of the Life of the Queen, documentaries which aired in September 2022.
Director of Finance
John joined Lime Pictures as Finance Director in 2016 and took over of the Finance function at Lion TV in September 2019.
Prior to this he worked at NBC Universal for several years in a Senior Finance role across their Theatrical and Home Entertainment divisions internationally, working in Sydney, Stockholm and London.
John is responsible for all financial reporting, operations and information technology at Lime Pictures and Lion TV and is part of the Senior Management team, reporting into the Lime Managing Directors. John is a Chartered Accountant and a fellow of ICAEW.
