Have you got…?

  • NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Childcare, or equivalent is preferred but will consider giving training opportunities in Levels 3, 5 and EYTS to exceptional candidates who demonstrate a passion for a career in childcare and some relevant experience.
  • Experience of being a key worker or equivalent, making observations and maintaining individual learning journals
  • Proven knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework, children’s development and all aspects of child safeguarding.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to cope and prioritise conflicting demands and make decisions effectively.
  • A genuine passion for providing exceptional care and learning opportunities helping young children to develop
  • Paediatric First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
  • Valid food hygiene certificate (Desirable)

Hollyoaks is an award-winning five-nights-a-week soap that entertains its teatime audience with a heady mix of romance, hard hitting, issue led storytelling and big block-buster plots.

We have an opportunity for a passionate and imaginative Script Editor to join the Editorial team. The Editorial department is fast paced, energetic and creative and you will need to be confident, deadline driven and a fantastic problem solver.  You will attend meetings contributing effectively to discussions to strengthen story and character ideas. In these meetings you will be responsible for taking accurate notes from the Producers. These notes will be used throughout the scripting process and so your attention to detail needs to be excellent. You will liaise with Writers to discuss changes to scripts, handle queries from cast and crew, as well as being ready to work with the Producers and Writers if additional dialogue or reshoots are needed.

This role is required for an initial 6 months, however we will hopefully be looking to extend beyond that timeframe.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience of script editing or storylining as well as having the following skills and knowledge:

  • An understanding of the script process for drama
  • A solid understanding of script and story structure, dialogue and tone
  • Up to date knowledge of the Hollyoaks show, its characters and stories
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise workload
  • Previous experience working on a long running drama in an editorial capacity

The Lime Pictures Brand Partnerships team offers a wide and exciting range of opportunities to existing and potential clients to work with our programme brands and talent. Our partnerships can include, but are not limited to, a mix of any of the following: licensing of Lime Pictures programme brand IP, product placement, production of branded content and TV adverts using programme IP and assets, social and influencer campaigns, PR and on-screen talent. The Brand Development Manager must therefore have a proven experience managing complex brand partnerships on behalf of clients to a high level in the areas listed.

This role is first and foremost a campaign management one, the Brand Development Manager is responsible for ensuring Lime Pictures continues to deliver best in class brand partnerships on behalf of its clients and external stakeholders., while also assisting the wider team to answer briefs. 

You will build a wide-ranging knowledge of all Lime Pictures programmes and workflows as well as maintain and build both internal and external relationships to ensure all deliverables are met to a high standard within any given partnership.

You will also have demonstrable experience in building strong relationships with broadcasters, brands, media agencies, PR agencies, talent agents and on-screen talent as well as the ability to identify sales opportunities, to build and implement a commercial strategy across programme brands.

This is an exciting, fast paced role. You will need to be able to work under pressure to tight and sometimes shifting timelines with support from the wider team and a Brand Partnerships Assistant who will report to you day to day.  You will be highly organised with the ability to solve any problems you may encounter in the course of campaign delivery, however alongside this you will also have the opportunity to put forward ideas and show off your creative flair in response to briefs.

The role offers a competitive salary based on your experience.  The role is currently a 4 day a week, part time position but we are open to discussing alternative options for the right person.

Hollyoaks is renowned for its bright and colourful look, which is reflected in its vibrant and fearless fashion.  Our Costume team work to deliver the vision of each character’s individual style, and we are excited to announce that we have an opportunity for a Costume Assistant to join our Hollyoaks crew.

To thrive in this role, you will be passionate about current fashion trends and have an interest in costume. You will also need to have a keen eye for detail as you will be responsible for monitoring continuity on set throughout each filming day.

We are looking for someone with TV experience who is a confident communicator, solution focused and able to work autonomously and as part of a team. As Costume Assistant you will often be the sole person on shoot representing the costume team, you will be given direction and support from your Costume Supervisor in relation to the requirements of each filming day and will be the first point of contact for other crew and cast whilst on the filming floor.

You will work closely with the Costume Supervisor throughout each block, distributing costumes to the relevant dressing rooms, assisting in the dressing/checking of supporting artistes. Under the guidance of the Supervisor, you will assist with breaking down of costumes using the correct techniques and equipment. As part of the costume team, you will aid in the general care of costumes and accessories including washing, cleaning and ironing when required.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced, creative and knowledgeable team.
