Office Administrator

Lime’s Design department are currently looking for an Office Administrator for a 12 month fixed term contract.   The successful candidate will support the Head of Design and the Operations Manager and be responsible for all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the design department.   Required knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Proven administrative experience
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, MS outlook and Powerpoint
  • Ability to manage administrative processes
  • Knowledge of basic accounting practice and possess the ability to produce Excel spreadsheets
  • Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to monitor and report schedule changes on a daily basis
  • Strong organisational skills and capable of multi-tasking
  • High degree of attention to detail; must be able to take responsibility for ensuring all work is accurate
  • Efficient problem solving skills and proven ability to work using own initiative
  • Ability to work within a team in a pressured environment.
  • Understanding of the television production process

Production Runner

We are currently searching for a Production Runner; the successful candidate will provide high quality administration support, covering the relevant needs of the production.

Role Responsibilties will include:

Administration:

  • Administration support for the Production Secretaries, Coordinators & Production Managers
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for the Production Secretaries
  • Distributing, scripts, mail and amended scenes to crew and artistes
  • Keeping production office notice boards updated
  • Compiling Pick-up Packs for following day – scenes and camera plans

Additional:

  • To assist other members of the Production team during busy times.
  • Other duties, which are reasonable and appropriate to the post.

Required skills and experience:

  • Experience of television drama production gained within a broadcast environment as a production runner
  • Knowledge of TV production
  • Health and Safety knowledge in relation to a television environment
  • IT skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work unsupervised
  • Good organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Full clean driving licence.

Technical Operations Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our Technical Services Team. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership to teams in the delivery of a range of production related functions and services, whilst continually reviewing and improving to enhance value to production. They will ensure availability of appropriately skilled personnel to meet production demand and that all areas of responsibility are working collaboratively and effectively.   • A strong track record of dealing with multiple stakeholders and or working in a multi discipline environment.
  • Significant operational experience within a content production background and the ability to co-ordinate across multiple functions

Production Manager - Digital

We are currently looking for a Production Manager to join our Digital team at Lime Pictures. The PM will be responsible for the day to day running of the Lime digital team’s budget across the portfolio and will oversee the production management of all video shoots in Liverpool, including managing schedules and supporting the content producers across all programmes. They will lead the planning of budgets, resourcing and scheduling of all new projects in order to successfully deliver the editorial and financial objectives. Alongside the Creative Director and with the support of the Head of Publicity and Digital, the PM maybe expected to perform managerial responsibilities, helping to manage and support the content creation teams, ensuring everyone has what they need to perform their jobs. They may also be expected to have direct liaison with senior figures within the broadcast commissioning teams and commercial clients as well as communicating internally with members of the senior management team. Required Skills and Experience:

  • Solid understanding of the production process.
  • Budgeting and financial planning skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital media and the way TV audiences use technology to interact with programmes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – dealing with people at all levels.
  • Ability to lead a team effectively.

Story Editor

We are currently looking for a Story Editor to join our Story team. The successful candidate will manage the storyline team in the devising, writing and editing of detailed storylines to an agreed vision as outlined by the Series Producers and Executive Producer. Role Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the story team and the day to day running of the story office, including all work relating to the publication of the storylines and office administration
  • Co-chair story and commissioning conferences
  • Plan the block and pitch it to the Series Producers/Exec Producer
  • In conjunction with the senior storyliner, lead the talk-throughs with the storyline team then apportion work appropriately
  • Edit storyliners’ work before edits with the producers
  • Re-write, re-work and edit storylines to the agreed vision of the producers
  • Oversee production of character biographies
  • Run small groups and character workshops
  • Plan the long term direction of stories with the Story Consultant, Series Producers/Exec
  • Assist Writers, Script Editors and production with story queries
  • Work with and contribute to Online as required
  • Keep abreast of youth culture, and have an awareness of current issues to help generate agenda-setting stories

Senior Storyliner

We are currently looking for a Senior Storyliner to join our Story team. The successful candidate will devise and write detailed storylines to an agreed vision as outlined by the Story Editor, Series Producers and Executive Producer and to deputise for the Story Editor when required. Role Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing ideas to story conference, block planning and talk-thru
  • Writing engaging, compelling storylines that conform to the house style and the brief agreed by the Story Editor

STANDBY ART DIRECTOR

We are currently searching for a Standby Art Director to join our Design team at Lime Pictures on a 6 month FTC. The successful candidate will ensure all design elements of Production are secured and augmented on a day to day basis and ensure the smooth running of the shoot, along with the following duties:

  • Liaise with Directors for both sets and location design requirements
  • Liaise with Graphics regarding any graphic requirement
  • Liaise with Production regarding short-term and long-term design possibilities
  • Manage and provide effective leadership to the shoot Design team
  • Work closely with and provide a high level of support to the Production Designer
  • Provide support to the other Standby Art Directors
  • Break down scripts
  • Attend Production/Script meetings to contribute and manage the design element
  • Ensure programme compliance
  • Stand in for the Production Designer if required
  • Produce drawings and story boards if requested
  • Responsibility and accountability for block budgets
  • Other duties which are reasonable and appropriate to the post.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience: Qualifications

  • Interior Design/Film Design related degree or equivalent qualification/industry experience
  • Production Health and Safety qualification
  • Manual Handling Certification
