When Bruce Springsteen came to Britain

To mark the 50th anniversary of Bruce Springsteen’s first UK concert, this documentary examines the American performer’s unique relationship with the UK. Stuart Ramsay’s film features previously untold stories, like Springsteen’s donation to striking miners, and charts key moments from his visits to Britain; from his first UK concert – at Hammersmith Odeon in 1975 – to the huge outdoor performances on the 1985 Born In The USA tour and his triumphant return in 2024. As well featuring an exclusive new interview with Bruce Springsteen, the documentary has contributions from friends and fellow performers including Stevie Van Zandt, Sting and Peter Gabriel.
