Hollywood hardman Vinnie’s Jones’ brand-new TV series, Vinnie Jones In The Country, is just around the corner. And now, Warner Bros. Discovery can unveil a sneak peek of Vinnie working hard to bring his dream – renovating a dilapidated 400-year-old farmyard in the middle of West Sussex – to reality!
In the trailer for the new series, Vinnie is at one with nature, as he peers through the West Sussex countryside, spotting a deer, and taking a moment to reflect. “In this world, money don’t matter, cars don’t matter; none of it matters,” Vinnie says. “It’s f****** wonderful!”
The trailer then shows highlights from across the series, as Vinnie, with the help of his team, works tirelessly to renovate the newly acquired farmland into his own little piece of paradise… with a “crash, bang, wallop!”
As Wobbly, Vinnie’s right-hand man puts it, Vinnie will stop at nothing to realise his vision. “He’s constantly pushing,” he says, as the pair squabble while laying down foundations for a dog kennel. But at the end of the day, for Vinnie and the crew, the bickering is all part of the banter. “We have a cuddle and get on with it,” Vinnie exclaims.
As well as breathing new life into the 147-acre land, the six-part series will follow Vinnie’s will also take a refreshing look at men’s mental health, with Vinnie channelling his therapy through hard work, friendship and banter. “Just keep busy, keep swinging. That’s the motto,” Vinnie says.
Visited at his farm by friend and footballing legend Paul Gascoigne for a spot of fishing, Vinnie sums up his mental health philosophy. “We’ve all got our demons and everything, but you’ve just got to keep busy.”
Meanwhile, the trailer shows Vinnies other passion – rewilding the humble hedgehog into the British countryside! “It’s going to be a fight to help the hedgehog,” Vinnie says, visiting a local animal hospital to meet some of his furry friends.
With lots more to come, Vinnie Jones In The Country promises to be an explosive look at the softer side of one of Hollywood’s hardest men!
