Lime Picture’s rating success

Lime Picture’s Non-Scripted shows TOWIE and Geordie Shore have both proven we are a nation of reality lovers. The last series of TOWIE was yet again TV dynamite- with the interesting addition of Megan McKenna… The last episode of a very long series, Episode 14 got 1.29 million viewers (a 7% share.) This number makes the show the highest rating show since TOWIE moved to ITVBe and is up there with some of the biggest figures we’ve ever enjoyed on TOWIE.

Not one to be outshone Geordie Shore's Episode 4 of the current series has consolidated to an audience of 1.3 million (7.2% share). With 922k (24.2% share) of 16-34s, this is the target demographic audience. This proved the highest TX of Geordie Shore EVER on MTV. We are truly hooked on Gary and Charlotte’s on/ off again love story and we cannot wait for more, wey aye, man!

As it stands in the 16-34 demographic, this Geordie Shore TX beats Gogglebox (CH4), Walking Dead (Fox) and The Big Bang theory (E4). In fact, it’s only beaten by EastEnders (BBC1, by 6%) & Britain’s Got Talent (ITV1, by 20%).

With a hilarious TOWIE series of banter, agg and raw emotion the fans have spoken. TOWIE has just celebrated its 200th episode and Geordie Shore has received its highest rating episode in series 12 showing there really is no sign of slowing down.

Britain’s most famous Essex boy is back, as Joey Essex begins his latest series of intellectual challenges in a brand new seven part series of Educating Joey Essex.

Fresh from his crash course in politics last year, Joey is once again on a mission to learn more about the world around him, and familiarise himself with the hot topics and big issues that everyone is talking about.

This time around, Joey’s fact-finding assignments will be centred around celebrating the Queen’s 90th Birthday and the European Referendum.

Joey’s latest journey of discovery will kick off with Joey learning more about Britain’s greatest institution – the Royal Family.

He may be the self proclaimed King of Essex, but, with the Queen celebrating her 90th birthday, Joey’s about to find out whether regal life really is reem when he enlists the help of various Royal experts, including Jennie Bond, to get his own insight into the monarchy.

He will then be getting back on board with politics as he puts his previous political know how into practise to get clued up on the European Referendum, as the landmark vote dawns on 23rd June.

But can the man who once thought Richard & Judy created the world get to grips with European policy in time to vote yes or no? After his political onslaught last year, which saw Joey speak to political leaders Ed Milliband, Nick Clegg and Nigel Farage in the lead up to the General Election, which political figures will Joey be going one to one with this time around?

Later in the year Joey will be jetting off to the US for more educational fulfilment in three specials.

UK-Produced Live-Action Hit Series nominated at International Emmy Kids awards

Second series to begin production this summer 

Multi-award winning Lime Pictures return to produces series


London, April 6, 2016 – Disney Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA) today announced the greenlight on production for a second season of The Evermoor Chronicles, the hit UK-produced Disney Channels live action mystery adventure series.  The announcement follows recognition at the International Emmy Awards where Evermoor, the mini-series from which The Evermoor Chronicles originated, was nominated in the best TV Movie/Mini-Series category.

The second series will see returning talent including Georgia Lock (Sadie J, Friday Download), Georgie Farmer (The Ministry of Curious Stuff), Sammy Moore, Finney Cassidy, Alex Starke, Clive Rowe, Margaret Cabourn-Smith and India Ria Amarteifio, reprising their roles, with further cast to be announced at a later date. Filming will begin this summer before returning to screens later this year, airing on Disney Channel in multiple countries worldwide.

BAFTA award-winning production company Lime Pictures returns to produce the 12 x 22 minute season with the production team based on location in Warrington, UK. The new series brings magic, suspense and drama to the returning cast with storylines that will connect even more deeply with Disney Channel viewers.

The hit original mini-series, Evermoor attracted 5.3 million viewers in its first quarter on air across 10 EMEA markets1.  Co-created by Diane Whitley (House of Anubis) and co-creator/ producer Tim Compton (House of Anubis), the second series sees Compton return to the helm alongside writer and executive producer Bede Blake (House of Anubis, Strange Hill High), and executive producer Rebecca Hodgson (Good Cop, Stolen).

The second season of The Evermoor Chronicles has been commissioned by Disney EMEA and will be produced by Lime Pictures in the North West. Disney EMEA has already achieved great success with series such as Violetta (Disney Channel); Henry Hugglemonster, Art Attack and Jungle Junction (Disney Junior) and Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja (Disney XD), with new Disney Channel live action series “The Lodge” currently in production.
